6 partners from 6 countries were guests of IHF asbl in Brussels on 28 November 2018 during the kick-off meeting of the SLIDE project “SchooL Internationalization & DEvelopment”, KA2 Strategic partnerships for school education. The SLIDE Project aims to take advantage of the opportunities represented by internationalization and digitalisation, incorporating creativity into everyday practice and helping schools develop skills in their staff members, visionary leadership skills for their managers specific problems for a disadvantaged student, school dropout and reduction of disparities in learning courses (public schools, schools included or simply less experienced in the use of internationalization and potential for digitization). During the meeting, the Partners (from Belgium, Italy, Poland, United Kingdom, Romania, and Turkey) had the opportunity to introduce themselves and get to know each other in more depth. After the lessons it is a space for a general overview of SLIDE, with the reflection of the intellectual facts and the main activities in the project, in order to improve the understanding of the project and of the future. IDP brings its consolidated experience and expertise as a private provider of professional training for entrepreneurship, competitiveness and employability. Moreover, IDP presents in the project its consolidated experience in the management and reporting of international projects. IDP will also collaborate with the Coordinator to ensure implementation and monitoring of the project. IDP delivered the workshop “Writing H2020 Proposals in Business English” at Politecnico di Torino, 6 – 7 April 2017. The workshop was targeted to 20 professors of Politecnico of Turin and structured in two days of working on how to write a successful proposal in English. IDP European Consultants holds the Master Class in European Financing: a practical training deployed since 1999 on how to develop successful EU project proposals and leverage financing opportunities through EU funding instruments and programmes. The MasterClass is targeted to professionals who wish to acquire effective methodologies and tools to prepare and implement successful EU funded projects.
IDP in London for the Mid-Term Meeting of the CoACH Project, the Innovative Training Networks (ITN) funded by Horizon 2020 to promote excellence in the development and commercialisation of composite materials in glass and ceramics. In CoACH, IDP is responsible for the design and delivery of specialised training to strengthen the professional capacity of researchers in project management, entrepreneurship and proposal writing for EU funding. CoACH is an inter/multi-disciplinary and inter-sectorial programme as it includes 5 academic partners and 10 private companies, from seven different European countries. CoACH will promote international excellence in glass, ceramic and composite science and technology, modelling, design, characterization and commercialization of advanced glass, ceramic and composite based products.
