The LOTUS Project is excited to announce the launch of a new set of six comprehensive training modules, specifically designed for Vocational Education and Training (VET) trainers. These modules aim to enhance the development of essential personal and social skills among VET learners, ensuring that they are equipped to succeed in an ever-evolving professional landscape. The content focuses on three key areas: Personal Development, Social Skills, and Lifelong Learning.
These training modules provide VET trainers with the tools and resources they need to guide learners toward the development of resilience, emotional intelligence, effective communication, and lifelong learning. By incorporating these topics into their teaching practices, trainers will help learners build a robust skillset that supports both personal and professional growth throughout their careers.
The key content of this new training resources is:
1. Personal Development
Personal development is at the heart of fostering successful and adaptable professionals. The modules in this category aim to help VET learners develop a strong sense of self, the ability to face challenges, and the skills to thrive in a dynamic world.
- Building Resilience: This module helps learners understand the importance of resilience and how it can be developed to overcome adversity. Through engaging activities and exercises, learners will learn how to cope with setbacks, stay motivated, and build mental toughness in the face of challenges.
