The LOTUS Project is excited to announce the release of an innovative and interactive set of Infographics for Career Management Skills, aimed at supporting Vocational Education and Training (VET) students in their journey toward successful careers. These resources have been carefully designed to equip young learners with the essential skills required to secure employment, advance in their careers, and maintain job stability in an ever-changing job market.
This comprehensive set of 18 educational infographics addresses three key stages of career development: PREPARE, SEARCH, and SECURE. The materials guide learners through the process of mastering foundational career skills, from job-seeking to job retention, and help them build the resilience needed to succeed in the modern workforce.
Career Management Skills: Key Areas of Focus
The PREPARE phase equips learners with the core skills necessary for a successful job search. These 6 resources focus on building the foundational competencies that all young professionals need when entering the workforce for the first time:
- Teamwork: The ability to work effectively within a team, collaborate, and manage group dynamics is critical in nearly every industry. This module covers key teamwork principles and strategies for fostering productive collaboration.
- Oral and Written Communication: Communication skills are crucial for both job seeking and long-term career success. This resource focuses on how to express ideas clearly, whether in interviews, on the job, or in professional correspondence.
