SOCIAL EDUCATION FOR DIGITAL TARDIVES: IDP in Paris for the 2nd Transnational Meeting of CLICK CLEVER, an Erasmus+ Project

IDP was in Paris (FR) on April 4th for the second meeting of CLICK CLEVER, hosted by French Partner E-SENIORS. The Project is implemented by a Consortium of 8 Partners from 5 European countries (Belgium, France, Greece, Italy and Spain).

Partners discussed Primary and Secondary Research – the former deals with gap analysis on target groups and their use of the Internet via online survey – specifically, IDP took care of the latter which is about the necessary countermeasures implemented to solve digital ignorance and misuse of social media.

The combination of evaluations from those researches will allow partners to investigate and solve digital issues and foster the creation of a proper “digital culture” at a European level by developing free online and face-to-face training modules to make “digital immigrants” able to live in relational environments, such as social networks, and to think critically about contents they receive through social media.

Economic and Social Sustainability in Europe: AXESS Demo Video Available!

The Video Guide for AXESS platform is online and available on the AXESS YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-L3fr7VSN_s. The video shows the project’s purpose, the members involved and associated partners, the training section, case studies, a list of useful words for a better understanding of the project itself and a news section – all the contents are in English, Slovak, Greek, Macedonian, Italian, Spanish and Romanian.

AXESS (Acquisition of Key Competences for Economic and Social Sustainability) involves 8 Partners from 7 Countries (Belgium, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia and Spain) is a European Project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 2, which aims at developing and validating innovative trainings to improve digital competences of low-skilled European adults, particularly focusing on adult women.

In the AXESS project, IDP carried analyses of the situation in the domain of digital skills for adult women in Italy, supports Project Management and manages Quality Assurance of the project.

DIGITAL FUTURE IS ADULT: The DELSA Website Is Available!

The DELSA website has been launched on http://www.digitaldelsa.eu/index.php and contains all the project information, implementation, its objectives and background as well as a specific section describing the partners involved. Furthermore, all the project results and outputs are freely available on the website in 5 languages.

8 Partners from 6 European Countries (Belgium, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Spain) participate in DELSA addresses the issue of low digital competences and skills and have developed immediate and concrete training and educational resources to advance digital abilities of low skilled adults.

IDP greatly contributes to the technical and operational activities of DELSA, carrying out analysis and stock-taking activities of the Italian Adult Education ecosystem pertaining to the project; contributing to structuring modules, developing methodologies for effective teaching and learning, materials and content. In addition, IDP brings into the project its consolidated experience in international project management and reporting.

8 Partners from 6 Countries (Belgium, Cyprus, France, Iceland, Italy, Spain) are involved in SOLOPRENEUR, a Project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission.

The projected is devoted to job seekers from parts of Europe whose remoteness exacerbates the issue of underemployment and to those who want to start their own business fostering their access to the EU job market. The concept behind it is to develop Open Educational Resources, training and learning solutions to enhance employability and for those who are seeking better or new opportunities through self-employment.

Since 1991, IDP has greatly contributed to the technical and operational activities of EU projects: in SoloPreneur, it will carry out analytical and stock-taking activities of the Italian VET ecosystem in relations to self-employability and provide training materials and modules.

SUSTAINABLE TOURISM INNOVATIVE TRAININGS: Sustain It Website Is Online!

The project involves 8 partners from 6 European countries – Belgium, Cyprus, Italy, Iceland, Ireland and Spain and available in 5 languages.

IDP brings in SUSTAIN IT its expertise and experience as a key social player in international and European projects, ensuring the “European Dimension” of the project as it carries out all the technical tasks from a “European Perspective”, i.e. carrying out analyses of relevant EU policies, trends and initiatives; extrapolating EU relevant case studies, lessons learned and best-practices.

IDP guarantees a presence of the project in Brussels also from a dissemination and exploitation perspective, ensuring that project activities and outputs are properly showcased in the most relevant EU settings.

IDP European Consultants presentsat the CoACHproject Industrial Workshop “Advanced Materials for High Growth Industries

4th October 2018 – IDP European Consultants participated in Turin at the workshop “Advanced Materials for High Growth Industries” to brainstorm on the linkages between academic research and industrial innovation. The workshop was held in the context of the CoACH project.

CoACH project www.coach-etn.eu is funded by the European Commission through the H2020Marie Skłodowska-Curie Innovative Training Networks action (MSCA-ITNs) to provide career development and training opportunities for researchers who are in their first 4 years of research career in both the public and private sectors.

The Project brings together 5 academic partners and 10 private companies, from 7 different European countries with the objective to advance research and innovation in glass and ceramics materials.

SHIFT 3rd meeting picture

The Transnational Consortium in Warsaw for the 3rd Transnational Meeting of SHIFT, an Erasmus+ Project to enhance financial support for university students

SHIFT 3rd meeting pictureThe Transnational Consortium met in Warsaw, Poland, on September 10th for the 3rd Meeting of the project SHIFT (Strengthen Higher-education through Innovative Financial Tools) co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 2, Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education.

SHIFT is implemented by a Consortium of 7 partners from 4 countries (the United Kingdom, Belgium, Italy and Poland) and will develop and validate an innovative model to provide financial support to students. SHIFT is developing a fund that pools money from both public and private sectors, managing the finances to generate revenues to be redistributed to HE students in the form of grants and/or soft loans.

During the meeting, the Partners discussed the main findings of the report “SHIFT Innovative Financial Model for HE Students” and advanced implementation by fine-tuning the methodology for the validation phase of the project based on the next deliverable “Test and Validate SHIFT through Stress Testing”.

Partners also set the stage for the “SHIFT Implementation Package” that will include tools and documents for universities to implement the SHIFT Model, as well as a set of financial literacy tools and resources for students.
