On May 24th, IDP organised the Multiplier Event for AXESS (Acquisition of Key Competences for Economic and Social Sustainability) in the city of Fossacesia, Italy, attended by many participants from the entrepreneurship ecosystem, local stakeholders, policy makers and Adult Education representatives.
The event took place in cooperation with Innovalley (www.inno-valley.it) and titled “Entrepreneurship Digitalization: Funds, Opportunities and Prospects” meant to show the importance of the digital transformation and digital technologies’ role in everyday life.
IDP European Consultants presented the AXESS project, a European project co-funded by the Erasmus Plus Programme of the European Commission, Key Action 2. AXESS involves 8 Partners from 7 Countries – Belgium, Greece, Italy, Macedonia, Romania, Slovakia and Spain and aims at developing and validating innovative trainings to improve digital competences of low-skilled European adults, particularly focusing on adult women.
In AXESS, IDP analysed the situation of digital competences in Italy, investigating policies and strategies of the Italian Government and identifying specific training needs of low-skilled adults in the digital field.
Moreover, IDP developed modules related to employability and self-employment, particularly to the EU programmes managed by the EU Commission in support of entrepreneurship and job opportunities on social media, showing key aspects of digital job-hunting such as immediacy of communication, identifying job resources, profiling skills and competences.
